ABA Program Director

Afiya Mohammed is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 15 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. She designs and delivers evidence-based intervention programs for individuals with a range of developmental and behavioral needs.

She currently serves as ABA Program Director at NeuroCore, where she leads clinical strategy and program development and oversees service delivery across multidisciplinary teams. Her role involves making sure ABA services stay grounded in scientific rigor, ethical practice, and individualized care.

Afiya studied Psychology at Middlesex University in London for her Bachelor's degree, then completed a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at Queen's University Belfast. These academic foundations support the clinical expertise and leadership she brings to her work today.

Over the course of her career, she has worked with children across a wide range of developmental and learning profiles. This includes Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Down Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, processing delays, and specific learning disabilities like dyslexia and dyscalculia. Her clinical work centers on early intervention, reducing challenging behavior, building new skills, and developing functional life skills that improve outcomes over the long term.

Afiya also trains and mentors parents, caregivers, educators, learning support assistants, special educators, and ABA practitioners. Her approach to training focuses on practical, hands-on application and individualized program design for learners between the ages of 18 months and 16 years.

She's experienced with a number of standardized assessments and curriculum frameworks, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, EFL, social skills assessments, Theory of Mind, and the NECC Core Skills framework from the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia. These tools shape her structured, data-driven approach to assessment and intervention planning.

She has also delivered advanced training on learner engagement, data collection systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ethical decision-making in complex clinical situations, skill generalization, and helping learners maintain skills over time.

Afiya believes in individualized, evidence-based interventions that are meaningful for learners and their families, and she's a firm advocate for early intervention because of the role it plays in a child's development. She's also committed to inclusion and dignity for the people she works with, and pushes for ABA services to be available across home, school, community, and vocational settings so people have real opportunities to participate and be independent.

RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)

Jaaishini is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT, 2021). She holds an Australian BA in Psychology (2020) and a British MSc in Psychology and Learning Disabilities (2026). She started out as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school between 2021 and 2024, and that's where she first found her interest in working with children who learn differently. She's currently pursuing her International Behavior Therapist (IBT) and Applied Behaviour Analysis Technician (ABAT) qualifications. Jaaishini has a particular interest in learning disabilities and neurodivergence, and she brings a lot of patience and warmth to her work, helping children grow in self-awareness, self-regulation, and confidence.
